Neil is the founder of Smap Consulting where he has more than 10 years experience in delivering information technology solutions for aid and development projects. He has a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with a masters in Management Technology.
Neil has always had a focus on the application of technology, right from his first job as a researcher in electronics and instrumentation systems at Rolls Royce, through to software development at Telstra, and IT consulting for DMR, IBM and Fujitsu. Now at Smap his focus is on how the application of Data Science, GIS, and Mobile Data Collection, can help create better outcomes for those in need and also for the environment.
